The Rwanda’s national carrier RwandAir announced on May 28th,2019 that Tel Aviv is the next destination to be operated in the Middle East. It’s been one of those waited for so long for a christian community in Rwanda given the fact that many born again churches organise at least two times a year what they call a “Holy visit” to Jerusalem(Holy Land) in Israel, a country of a strong religious history for christians where hundreds of Rwandans go to tour different places mentioned in the Bible in which Jesus spent time or did miracles.

RwandAir will seamlessly connect tourists and business travelers between Tel Aviv and its network three times a week via its Kigali hub. This new route will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays by a Boeing 737-800NG offering 16 seats in business class and 138 seats in economy class.

It will also be a great opportunity to ease travel and strengthen diplomatic ties between the two countries”Commented Yvonne Manzi Makolo,CEO of RwandAir.
