Anoher Congolese by the name of Corine Mulumba told Rwandanspotter that her booking with another airline did not go well before she knew and decide to fly to Kigali and connect for Kinshasa.” I was thinking that i was going to sleep on the chairs in the departure hall as i am used to when i travel in Africa, but at my big surprise we were taken to a nice hotel and comfortably slept before we board for Kinshasa”

Also expect volunteer ‘helpers’ once you are outside the airport, who will want to carry your bags in return for tips. Keep in mind that when returning to the airport to leave you can not drive your car or take a cab onto the airport property without paying for parking / access $5 or $10.
